Sara Evans

Sara Evans, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana, has been delivering therapeutic services to a wide array of clients in various outpatient environments since 2014. After graduating from Ball State University with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she developed a versatile practice as a clinical generalist. She possesses extensive experience addressing complex needs such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, personality disorders, perfectionism, and grief and loss. Sara’s clinical approach is multifaceted, incorporating interpersonal and feminist perspectives alongside evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and exposure therapy. She also integrates motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed care into her work, with self-compassion serving as a foundational element of her therapeutic style. Sara serves adolescents and adults, guiding them through identified areas of growth and facilitating meaningful life changes. Outside of her clinical practice, she finds balance and inspiration through exploring various methods of healing, practicing yoga, cooking, baking, attending live music events, and spending time in nature.
