Samet (Dr. Galiboglu) Galiboglu, MD

Dr. Galiboglu is a physician who specializes in Psychiatry. Growing up in the tri-state area and training in NY, Dr. Galiboglu has seen and treated patients suffering from the full spectrum of mental illness ranging from Adhd, anxiety, depression to more severe pathology. He also incorporates therapy as a treatment modality in conjunction with medication management to yield the best outcomes for patients. One of the therapy modalities that Dr. Galiboglu utilizes is psychodynamic psychotherapy as childhood development and psychosocial factors can significantly affect patients’ mental health. In addition to providing evidence-based treatments with psychopharmacology and therapy, Dr. Galiboglu can assist patients with optimizing their fitness and nutrition plans. Dr. Galiboglu appreciates and understands the paramount effects nutrition and fitness can have on patients’ mental health as he worked both as a personal trainer and exercise specialist prior to attending medical school. He has many years of experience working as a fitness professional helping clients with lifestyle interventions and modifications to augment their primary treatments. Dr. Galiboglu completed his Bachelor’s in Psychology at Montclair State University. he attended American University of Antigua College of Medicine and then Florida International University, Herbert College of Medicine Clinical Clerkship program where he completed his medical education. He then went on to complete his MBA degree.
