Samantha Runnion

Samantha is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. She earned a master's degree in Social Work from Wichita State University and a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Friends' University. She earned her certification in play therapy through KC Play in 2012. She works with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services to all ages from 6 through elderly that includes individual therapy, families and couples. Treatment approaches she uses in her work with clients are play therapy, sand tray therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, she offers a highly personalized approach tailored to each of her clients individual needs to help attain the personal growth they’re striving for.
