Helping first and second generation Asian Americans explore how childhood experiences impact current relational functioning and self of self.

As a 1.75 generation Chinese American, cultural identity and belonging are deeply important to me. I believe that we were born for connection and that our early experiences with connection to how we develop our sense of self. I specialize in working with Asian Americans, particularly children of immigrants. I want to understand you in the context of you who are and the society you were raised in and live in. I want to explore your childhood relationships and experiences with you to see patterns and things you've learned so you can develop the kind of relationships you want with yourself and others. And I want to empower you to make the changes necessary to create a life that brings you joy and meaning. Along with individual and couples therapy, I also provide psychological assessments for folx who want to explore their cognitive and emotional functioning and/or are looking for specific support in regards to accommodations or medical clearance.
