Sabitha Aligeti

Practicing since 2015, Dr. Sabitha Aligeti is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience supporting adults and veterans across community, inpatient, outpatient, and multi-disciplinary settings. Her clinical approach is deeply rooted in the belief that plant-based whole foods can serve as medicine, and she integrates this philosophy with conventional and evidence-based treatments. Her service offerings include telepsychiatry, integrated mental health care, lifestyle modifications, and specialized neurology treatments such as TransMagnetic Stimulation (TMS) and pharmacogenetic testing. Dr. Aligeti completed her medical education in India before moving to the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she earned a Master’s in Clinical Investigation and finished her residency and internship in Adult Psychiatry. She holds board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology and is a certified fellow with the Academy of Integrative Medicine and the Institute of Functional Medicine. Additionally, she is TMS certified and is further developing her expertise in plant-based nutrition through studies with Dr. T. Colin Campbell’s Center for Nutrition Studies. Serving patients in Newnan, Georgia, Dr. Aligeti provides care in English, Hindi, and Telugu. Outside of her professional practice, she dedicates her time to gardening, cooking, reading, meditation, and exploring new hobbies with her family.
