The goal is to give my clients the space to clarify their strengths, needs and surrounding context.

He specializes in working with clients with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues, and is particularly passionate about working with clients in the LGBTQIA community. Ryan holds a firm belief that not only is an individual’s inner experience important to understand, but that person’s context on a systemic level should be validated and factored into their therapeutic work in order to have an accurate picture of the challenges they are navigating. This is also a value and belief he strives to maintain in his clinical work as well. Ryan holds this in mind when working with clients regarding their gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, ability, and other factors. Ryan values therapy as a processing space where clients’ external contexts and inner worlds are illuminated, and upon exploring these things, the challenges to navigate and skills to do so make more sense. Ryan is trained and able to provide letters of support for gender affirming medical care. Before joining the practice, Ryan built experience in a range of settings and programs, including individual outpatient therapy, group therapy, residential treatment and partial hospitalization.
