45 years in practice

Clinical psychologist with specialization in providing psychotherapy to young adults diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

I've been in practice 40+ years. I worked in University mental health for 22 years and was Director of UVa CAPS from 2000 - 2013. Over the last 15 years I've specialized in assessment and psychotherapy of individuals with bipolar disorder. You can find more information about my background and practice by reviewing my website - www.RussFederman.com. I also write an ongoing blog for Psychology Today titled "Bipolar You" Also, it is not unusual that my practice hours are full during the academic year. However, if I perceive you are a good fit with my area of expertise, I will do what I can to try to work you in to my practice hours.
