Ross Gonzales

Ross Gonzales approaches the therapeutic experience as a collaborative partnership, assisting clients in Lake Oswego, Oregon, as they develop fresh perspectives and practical strategies for navigating life's obstacles. His clinical work prioritizes the health of relationships, focusing on how individuals connect with their essential support systems as well as their own internal selves. Drawing from an eclectic counseling background, he serves a diverse range of age groups, including young adults, adults, and seniors from ages 18 to 64. Ross is guided by the philosophy that children and families utilize the best skills and knowledge available to them at any given time. To help expand these capabilities, he integrates evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and collaborative problem-solving into his practice. His treatment toolkit also features mindfulness and parenting skills to support comprehensive emotional growth. Outside of his clinical hours, Ross finds balance through drawing, painting, playing board games, and spending quality time with his wife and son.
