Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Helping You Feel Better, Function Better, Live Better.
New England Behavioral Services is a psychiatric practice I founded to provide accessible, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults. I am a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with a strong clinical background that shapes my comprehensive approach to care. I began my career as a Family Nurse Practitioner working as an internal medicine hospitalist, later specializing in interventional pain management before transitioning fully into psychiatry. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse in oncology with medical-surgical and cardiac overflow, which provided me with a broad and well-rounded clinical foundation. My approach to treatment is patient-centered and collaborative. I believe that mental health care should never feel rushed or impersonal. I take the time to understand each patient’s story, identify the underlying factors contributing to their symptoms, and develop a treatment plan that is both clinically sound and realistic for their daily life. My goal is not only symptom relief, but helping patients improve their overall functioning and quality of life. At New England Behavioral Services, I treat a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mood-related disorders. I also offer advanced treatment options such as Spravato for individuals with treatment-resistant depression who have not responded to traditional medications. I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to increase accessibility and meet patients where they are. What makes my practice unique is the integration of a strong medical foundation with specialized psychiatric care, allowing for a more holistic and thorough understanding of each patient. I am also currently expanding my clinical knowledge through ongoing study in functional medicine to further enhance my ability to address the connection between physical and mental health. My practice is grounded in clinical excellence, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping patients feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout their treatment.
