As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Roger Kirkwood listens to his patients to give them quality healthcare. His open and empathic communication have helped him related to a variety of patients through his years of practice. He has experience as a community healthcare provider in mental health and has worked with the military as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner at Ft. Riley, Kansas. Prior to becoming a medical provider, Roger Kirkwood was a Medical Technologist for 10 years, performing and understanding all bloodwork and laboratory testing. Serving a variety of patients from children as young as five, to senior patients, his compassionate care helps evaluate, diagnose, and treat anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, dementia, ADHD, and many other mental health disorders. A combined 25 years + in the medical field, Roger takes the approach to listen and evaluate the patient in order to give them the best outcome possible. He educates patients as much as possible, so they can understand their diagnosis and treatment plan. In today's world of communication from telemedicine to in person visits, Roger works with clients to provide a positive treatment plan.
