Robert Travis

My name is "Chris"-Robert Travis, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I follow an integrated approach to the therapeutic process. I have been trained in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy). I incorporate strategies from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) while basing my therapeutic orientation on a holistic/person-centered perspective. I work from a mindfulness and strengths-based perspective. The goal of the group is to share parents' concerns about their children, provide guidance and process struggles as parents when it comes to managing the challenging behaviors of their children, and create a community for parents to support each other.
