Performance-focused EMDR therapist for athletes, professionals, and adults with ADHD navigating pressure, anxiety, and burnout.

I specialize in helping athletes, professionals, high performers, and adults with ADHD whose confidence, focus, emotional regulation, or performance is being disrupted by anxiety, pressure, burnout, trauma, or nervous-system overload. I'm an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Consultant-in-Training (CIT) licensed in Florida and North Carolina. My work focuses on helping people move beyond symptom management and address the underlying experiences and nervous-system patterns that continue to interfere with performance, relationships, wellbeing, and daily functioning. Many of the people I work with are capable, driven, and successful. They often understand their challenges intellectually but still find themselves struggling with overthinking, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, self-doubt, burnout, anxiety, or feeling stuck despite significant effort and insight. I frequently work with: • Athletes and competitors experiencing performance anxiety, confidence issues, injury recovery challenges, fear of reinjury, mental blocks, choking under pressure, or difficulty translating practice performance into competition performance. • Professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, healthcare providers, and other high performers navigating chronic stress, burnout, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, leadership pressure, and anxiety under pressure. • Adults with ADHD experiencing emotional intensity, executive dysfunction, chronic overwhelm, self-criticism, nervous-system exhaustion, and difficulty sustaining focus and follow-through. • Individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, panic, medical trauma, childhood adversity, grief, relationship wounds, and major life transitions. My primary treatment approach is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain and nervous system process experiences that continue to influence thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and performance long after they have occurred. I integrate Performance-Focused EMDR, Transformational EMDR, CBT, ACT, nervous-system regulation strategies, and performance psychology principles. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded. Therapy should create movement, not endless analysis.
