I support high achieving clients who experience anxiety. I specialize in working with performers and athletes.

Do you feel like you're holding yourself back? I work with people who want to get out of their own way. They identify as over-thinkers, high achievers, and perfectionists and are often experiencing anxiety and depression from feeling like they’re not reaching their full potential. They might be musicians, singers, dancers, actors, cheerleaders, athletes, or executive professionals. They feel frustrated that their own self-talk and perfectionism gets in the way of their ability to perform to their highest level. As performers we are trained “people pleasers.” Perfectionism comes easily, self compassion, not so much. The pressure to perform at our best can cripple us with performance anxiety and leave us feeling our worst. The desire to please can place our self-worth in the hands of others and leave our self-esteem feeling fragile. As a professional performer myself, I know these challenges from the inside out. I pull from a number of evidence based therapies, including EMDR for performance, to support high achievers and performers of all ages in reaching their personal and professional goals. My counseling style is warm, direct and always incorporates humor.
