Riley Nickols
Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, Psychologist, Sports Psychologist
I recognize the sensitivity needed to support the role of sport while understanding the many other demands athletes are navigating.
Athletes desire to be driven, confident, and successful. In order to live these values, physical and psychological health must be at the foundation. Unfortunately, many athletes have experienced barriers encompassing the mental and nutritional side of sport and life limiting one’s potential, ability to holistically care for themselves, and overall fulfillment. When relationship, mood, sport, or eating concerns arise, it is understandable to feel discouraged, isolated, and hopeless. With compassion and non-judgment, I will work collaboratively with you to achieve greater healing, peace, and freedom. I will treat you with dignity and respect as we explore factors that have contributed to undesirable patterns in your life. We will work together to cultivate hope and self-acceptance with an intent to develop a healthier relationship with yourself and others. I am passionate and committed to help athletes and high performers find balance, satisfaction, and improved quality of life. It is my privilege to walk alongside athletes, hear their story, and help them on their journey in and out of sport.
