Rebecca Reed
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
Allow me to use my training to not only encourage, but empower you to achieve and maintain your goals and live your best life!
My name is Rebecca Reed, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina, with Wake Counseling and Mediation. I recently relocated to North Carolina from Anchorage, Alaska, where much like North Carolina, I provided clinical services to a very diverse population coming from both urban and rural environments. I have clinical experience working with adolescents, adults, and families with a wide array of mental health concerns and from various socioeconomic backgrounds. I have experience working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, emotional regulation, life changes, legal issues, confidence/self-esteem, substance misuse, survivors of trauma, relationship distress, and family conflict. I am also an LGBTQ+ ally. I also have experience working with individuals who have been involved in the Criminal Justice System and overcoming the challenges that transitioning back into the community can have on individuals and their families. My clients have described me as an extrovert, high energy, easy to talk to, compassionate, genuine, and committed to helping others.
