25 years in practice

Mindfulness-Oriented, Psychodynamic, Somatic Psychologist helping students for over 25 years with academic, career, relationship and personal growth.

As a mindfulness-based psychologist for over 30 years, I offer a warm and welcoming space for you to explore yourself and your life experience. This is the basis for discovering your own capacity to make meaningful change and to promote growth in your life. My practice integrates the gentle openness of Eastern wisdom with the active Inquiry practices of Western psychology. Self-inquiry practices are drawn from the fields of Psycho-dynamic Depth Psychology, Jungian theory, Mindfulness Based CBT, IFS and Voice Dialogue, and Somatic Therapy. Our meetings will help you foster the clarity and capacity to put your insights into action with wisdom and vitality. I am licensed in California, New York and Washington and have worked with university students in Counseling Centers and my private practice in all those regions. I am familiar with the concerns of students at all levels of their educational process addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief and trauma, academic and career concerns, dissertation coaching, relationships and personal growth. I offer individual and couples counseling. I look forward to meeting you and working together to help you realize your own goals and aspirations.
