Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Greetings! I offer a warm, empathetic space to help you heal and grow. Let’s work together to build resilience with compassion and understanding.
I know it can be hard discussing personal matters with someone you’ve just met. Sharing your story is a big ask, and I want you to feel truly safe and heard. It is essential to consider personal & professional experiences when looking for the right fit in a therapist. I've spent a decade helping young people through anxiety, depression and trauma, along with eight years as a school counselor and a tour in the U.S. Marines Corps. Those years taught me that everyone’s healing or process of growth and change, looks different. I understand the complexities of college life, and the difficulties students encounter while navigating social life and academic demands. I'm here to listen and help. Let’s find some peace together, at your pace. In my practice, the goal isn't just to help you feel better in the short term; it’s to help you become better for the long haul. I believe that while many psychological "tools" serve as helpful temporary fixes, true healing, true growth and true change, comes from developing psychological fortitude and lasting capacity. My approach is rooted in behavioral modification and the science of habit formation. Let's partner to move beyond simply managing symptoms and start building the internal strength required to thrive academically, with relationships and transitioning into your career and adult life. Ask yourself: Has your journey so far focused on managing your struggles, or on developing the skill and strength to overcome them?
