(She/Her/Hers)
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Change and healing are creative processes. I help clients explore new ideas and release old ones with compassion, curiosity, and courage.
I've been practicing for nearly 5 years and my practice has evolved as I have. My passion is helping folks move through trauma, and I specialize in overcoming childhood traumas and understanding how those wounds show up in our adult lives. I use a blend of creative, compassionate, and exploratory approaches including the evidence-based practices of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Informed Expressive Arts Therapy (EXAT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative therapy. I guide and encourage clients to explore their wounds from multiple angles since I've learned - through personal and professional experience - that we can't think ourselves into wellbeing; it is something that must be actively practiced by the body in its language, the mind in its language, the heart in its language, and the spirit in its language. Our work together will be nonlinear, and oftentimes we may end up returning to old places we've already be to as we learn and grow. Humility is how we hold *all* of our parts despite our ideas or assumptions of them. Curiosity and creativity is how we disarm/move beyond their defensiveness. Compassion is how we integrate and remember who we truly are.
