Rachel Van Beek
(She/Her/Hers)
Counselor, Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC)
I provide a safe, judgment-free environment for people of all backgrounds and identities.
I specialize in working with young adults and the LGBTQIA+ population, providing a safe and affirming space for individuals to explore their identities, navigate life transitions, and address mental health concerns. Additionally, I have expertise in helping individuals cope with the unique challenges associated with pet loss, supporting them through the grief process and helping them find healing and acceptance. I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, parts therapy, and motivational interviewing. Drawing from these approaches, I am able to tailor treatment to the specific needs of each client, fostering growth, self-awareness, and lasting change. Therapy thrives on the collaborative relationship between therapist and client. If you’re seeking support in navigating life’s challenges, understanding yourself better, or finding healing and growth, please reach out to schedule an appointment. I look forward to joining you on your journey towards emotional well-being and personal transformation!
