We all have an inner wisdom that urges us toward growth and healing — we’ll work together to uncover that wisdom.

Rachel’s clinical style is collaborative, person-centered, and strengths-based. Her work seeks to explore the various experiences and contexts that come to influence and impact clients – past/current experiences, family, race & gender, and more to uncover your natural strengths to aid in growth. She believes that, deep down, we have all have a natural capacity to heal ourselves and works to tap into that inner wisdom with her clients. Rachel approaches therapy from three practices: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Insight-Oriented (think of peeling back layers for a deeper understanding of ourselves), and Mindfulness-based approaches. Recognizing that all clients are unique, Rachel uses these approaches flexibly, and tailors the discussion to most appropriately meet each client’s needs. Rachel has been privileged in being able to work with diverse clients over the past 15+ years and actively holds herself accountable to remaining culturally competent and keeping her skill-set fresh through continuing education, peer consultation, and self-study. She is also looking to further develop her areas of expertise by working with those leaving high-demand, high-control groups.
