Rachel Kauffman, LCSW, offers a warm, collaborative approach, advocating for mental health and creating a space where people feel heard and valued.

I joined Riverside Family Support to work closely with the community and advocate for the needs of the people I serve. My background includes working with elderly populations as a CNA in nursing home settings, as well as experience in human resources, where I regularly supported employees through crises and workplace concerns. As a clinician, I work with clients across a range of needs and life circumstances. My approach is grounded in advocacy and a genuine commitment to the people I work with. Mental health awareness is important to me, and I aim to provide practical, nonjudgmental, and responsive support to each person's situation.

    EMDR

An evidence-based, 8-phase psychotherapy that treats PTSD and trauma by using bilateral stimulation (eye movements or taps) to process distressing memories, reducing their emotional charge. It is highly effective for trauma, anxiety, and depression, often working faster than traditional talk therapy without requiring a detailed recounting of events.
