Rachel Hyman
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I welcome clients of all backgrounds to my practice and can help alleviate issues related to anxiety, depression, and school and relationship stress.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Washington. I provide individual counseling for older teens and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and trauma. I implement effective psychotherapy methods such as CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) and DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) to assist individuals in gaining tools to mitigate their difficulties, overcome obstacles, and live happier and more joyful lives. It is helpful to keep in mind that therapy is not a quick fix, but rather it is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment. However in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.
