Welcome to Your Own Pathway Therapy! Empowering you to forge your own path in life so you can be your best authentic self.

Hello! My name is Poiab (Pie-e-ah) and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing the field of Social Work since 2008. As someone who tried to follow cultural rules and society’s expectations, I found myself always searching for more. I kept following everyone’s expectations but found that I was never satisfied. After many attempts and learning from those errors, I finally realized that only I could make myself happy by taking risks and accountability for my own life. My goal is to help other people define their own path in their lives that will bring peace and contentment. At Your Own Pathway Therapy, our motto is, “There is no right way or wrong way to live your life. Society can screw off on what they think you should do to be happy. Your happiness and your life are your own and you have the right to decide what makes you happy as you find your own path.” Our mission is to empower people that they can “have it all” but in their own perspective, achieve milestones at their own timeline, take chances that will help them grow, and learn more about themselves as they take unconventional steps that will challenge them. Start living for you!
