Peggy Tomchek
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
My compassionate, affirming, eclectic counseling approach provides a safe environment for all backgrounds and identities.
I help clients by combining my life experience, academic knowledge and clinical experience. I create a safe space that promotes growth and aligns with their goals, using various methods to address unhealed trauma impacting clients. With a focus on anxiety, depression, trauma and life stress, I employ evidence-based methods to encourage lasting change. I integrate a variety of approaches to best help each individual to explore themselves - to help uncover solutions and make meaningful changes. Rather than focusing solely on problems or deficits, we will work together to highlight inherent strengths and capabilities, empowering clients to tap into their inner resources and build upon their existing skills.
