I offer medication management & therapy via telehealth or in office appointments to address ADHD, anxiety, depression, academic and substance use issues.

As a Duke-trained, board-certified psychiatrist, I am part of a holistic mental health practice where we deliver personal, high-value psychiatric care with a compassionate, whole-person approach. With extensive experience treating undergraduate and graduate students, I understand how a challenging academic environment can exacerbate or unmask mental health issues, and how hard it can be to find the right support when you need it most. In our practice we create a supportive and trusting relationship that is at the heart of effective care. We integrate medication management with evidence-based therapy and coaching. Support can also include sleep regulation, nutrition, time-management and dissertation support. Our goal is to equip you with the tools you need to feel better, stay better, and operate at your highest potential. Psychiatric Services & Consultation (PSC) is conveniently located three miles from Duke's main campus. In person and telehealth appointments available. We accept the Duke Student Health Insurance Plan ($10 co-pay) and Aetna Insurance (variable co-pays). We see patients who have out-of-network insurance and can assist you in filing with your insurance company to receive out-of-network reimbursement.
