Dr. Hashemi grew up in Los Angeles, and her passion for medicine, specifically mental health, was sparked by her extensive exposure to diversity in culture, mindset, and individual challenges. She loves traveling the world with her wife and little fluffy pup, spending time with friends and family, cooking, and finding new restaurants. Dr. Hashemi and her wife are always searching for the next great TV show. She is clinically fluent in English and Farsi.
