My work is grounded in compassion, affirmation and empathy. I believe that identifying and honoring one's strengths, especially in the context of struggle, is important to growth and healing. It's difficult to let go of old patterns that once helped you cope or survive but are now harmful. I can support you in finding your way through. I work with clients who present with diverse clinical issues, such as depression, grief, PTSD, relationship issues and life transitions. I have extensive experience working with substance use and trauma. Accessing care and creating change is often blocked by fear, stigma and shame; I can help navigate these unnecessary barriers. I have over 20 years experience in the field, sixteen as a therapist. I am a white, non-binary queer therapist. My approach is eclectic, collaborative and socially just. If you think we'd be a good fit, or if you'd like a phone consultation, please reach out.
