Congratulations on taking this step and beginning your search for a counselor.
Congratulations on taking this step and beginning your search for a counselor. I believe therapy works best when there is a good fit between a client and their therapist. In my role, this involves being flexible, open and transparent in order to help you define and work towards your goals. I assist clients in empowering themselves, by building on their strengths, promoting insight, and providing a safe space for them to explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, histories, identities, values, and relationships. I work holistically with clients who are struggling with issues related to: Mood, anxiety and body image concerns; Life transitions; Identity & relational problems; Trauma. I value your histories, identities & experiences and view these as vital to treatment and working together to improve your quality of life. My goal is to work alongside you to help you understand how to use the tools you already have in order to reduce your distress and empower yourself. Ultimately, you are the expert of your life and it would my pleasure to be a part of your journey.
