(She/Her/Hers)
Psychiatrist
Compassionate, culturally-informed care for psychosis, mania, ADHD, PTSD, depression, and anxiety, with a special focus on minority mental health.
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and personality disorders. I've worked in diverse settings—including inpatient units, emergency psychiatry, and consultation services—gaining experience with individuals facing a wide range of challenges. With additional training in forensic psychiatry through Columbia University, I also bring a nuanced understanding of the intersection between mental health and the law. I believe mental health care should meet you where you are, considering your unique experiences and cultural background. I'm particularly passionate about supporting people of color and exploring how cultural factors influence mental health and healing. Whether you're navigating a new diagnosis, managing long-term challenges, or trying to understand yourself better, my goal is to help you identify what "better" looks like for you and work towards it at your own pace. Our work together begins with curiosity—I strive to truly understand your story, struggles, and goals. From there, we'll collaborate on a treatment plan tailored to your needs, using evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and medication management.
