Nikhil Kaistha

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) serving the Twin Cities area, passionate about helping and supporting people. I believe that as humans we are always evolving from the experiences that life offers, which has steered me to believe in the interconnectedness of all life, and therefore my practice operates from a framework honoring the unity of the mind, body and spirit. I believe that each person is unique and that there is no one approach to the problems they present. My approach is informed by a range of therapeutic schools of thought including: cognitive, behavioral, multicultural, post-modern, Buddhist and transpersonal. Some of the specific modalities I use are: EMDR, CBT, AIR Network, clinical hypnosis, energy psychology (EAM, EFT), & Narrative therapy. I integrate Healing Touch, & sound healing as appropriate. My experience includes working with complex trauma, addiction, LGBTQIAA-Two spirit clients, immigrants and refugees. I am multilingual and am fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu. I endeavor to bringing forth each person’s unique strengths, values and knowledge to respond appropriately and effectively to the challenges they are facing.
