I offer immediate availability for all NC state Aetna plans for state workers, employees, teachers, retirees, & their dependents with no copay.
I am a therapist who has dedicated my life to serving others. I hope the impact I have on clients’ growth enables those clients experience more joy and be a better influence on the lives of the people they care about. Whether you've tried therapy before or are starting for the first time, I believe you will find me to be present and empathic to your unique set of circumstances. I aim to ensure you feel heard and understood. In addition, I rely on my years of experience as an instructor in the Clinical Psychology Department at San Diego State University where I have been exposed to the latest evidence-based methods. Whether you're facing recent difficulties or challenges that have lingered for years, I combine academic training with a down-to-earth approach. If you've struggled to connect with a past therapist or are unsure if counseling is right for you, I think you'll find my style refreshingly relatable. Finding the right therapist can be daunting, and locating someone reliable and consistently present is often challenging. If you seek an experienced therapist who can create a safe environment for exploring deeper emotions—whether with your partner or individually—I can help.
