Psychologist
I love helping clients identify values-based goals, set relational boundaries, and find humor and meaning in all spheres of their lives.
Therapy can be a wonderful place to find safety while healing; to learn new strategies for tackling life’s obstacles; and to talk through your choices with a caring advocate (that’s me!). You are the best judge of what’s right for you — your values, your dreams. My role is as a guide and a resource in helping your achieve those dreams. I was born and raised in Seattle, and completed my doctoral internship at the University of Washington’s counseling center. I love working with UW students when I have the chance! Though I work with clients of all ages and identities, some of my areas of expertise tend to affect women more frequently, such as sexual trauma and eating disorders. Whoever my client is, common themes in my work include: personal values, assertiveness and boundary-setting, and finding humor and meaning in all spheres of our lives. The types of therapy I use most often are Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR therapy for trauma.
