Mental health support for college students!
I specialize in working with tweens, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, life transitions, and more. I believe that clients are more willing to try new coping skills and ways of understanding themselves and the world when they have a genuine relationship with a thoughtful and supportive therapist. My ideal clients are looking for an authentic and approachable therapist who likes to use humor when appropriate. I utilize a strengths-based and collaborative approach to helping people make important changes and ease some of their difficulties. I work to create a safe, open, and reflective space for clients to learn and grow. I try to tailor my approach to my clients’ unique needs. I’m a provider at our Reston clinic, and I provide services in person and via telehealth. I speak both English and Amharic. I know seeking mental health services can be a scary step, and I’m honored that my clients trust me to support them. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, and trying new restaurants in the DC area.
