(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I offer more than 21 years in practice specializing in the treatment of disordered eating, compensatory behaviors, body image dissatisfaction, and more!
Hello! I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology at ASU (go Devils!) and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Brigham Young University with an emphasis on eating disorder treatment. I completed a one-year internship at Valley Mental Health in Salt Lake City, the fifth largest community mental health center in the country. After graduation, I relocated to New Mexico and completed a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at The Samaritan Counseling Center prior to enjoying an active private practice specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. I have practiced in a variety of settings including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. The majority of my work has been in outpatient treatment. I specialize in the treatment of disordered eating, compensatory behaviors (eg, purging, laxative abuse, diuretics/diet pills, overexercise, etc), body image dissatisfaction/dysmorphia, anxiety (including OCD), and depression/suicidal ideation. I approach psychotherapy from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, while integrating elements from other treatments. I look forward to meeting you!
