Misha Sivia

Misha Sivia is a compassionate psychiatrist with extensive experience in nonprofit and group practice settings, providing individualized care to patients in the Bay Area. She treats a broad range of psychiatric disorders, incorporating both medication management and psychotherapy into her clinical work. Her practice routinely addresses conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD, OCD, trauma, eating disorders, and insomnia. Dr. Sivia’s treatment approach is rooted in evidence-based medicine and emphasizes a collaborative relationship with each patient to develop tailored treatment plans. When clinically indicated, she coordinates closely with primary care physicians, therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive assessment and care. A California native, she earned her medical degree from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in India before completing her psychiatry residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City. She also completed a psychotherapy fellowship at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute.
