Michelle Petmi Ndomo

Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Michelle Petmi Ndomo operates on the belief that individuals are the true experts of their own lives. Her professional training encompasses both medication management and brief psychotherapy, allowing her to help individuals reach their goals through a highly collaborative and personalized clinical approach. Michelle’s clinical experience includes treating a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, personality disorders, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. She maintains a particular interest in supporting young adults as they navigate significant life transitions, addressing minority mental health, and assisting individuals experiencing first-episode psychosis. From the very first evaluation, she emphasizes the creation of a supportive, judgment-free therapeutic relationship that allows clients to explore all facets of their identity. When a treatment plan involves medication, Michelle utilizes a shared decision-making model to ensure patients are active participants in their care. She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of New Rochelle in New York and her graduate degree from National University in California. Her background includes extensive clinical training in hospitals, nursing facilities, and clinics. Having served as both a Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner, she has provided psychiatric and mental health services across various settings, including skilled nursing facilities and inpatient units. She provides care in both English and French.
