Michelle Joshua
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I support athletes, coaches, and high-performing/high-achieving individuals looking to create the mindset and environment that helps them thrive.
As a counseling and sport psychologist with over 20 years of experience helping clients reach their fullest potential, I am honored to do work that I love. I espouse a growth mindset and use positive psychology techniques to build awareness, sharpen skills, and teach new ones in the service of creating the mindset and environment to help you thrive. Clients are often looking for help with performance satisfaction, self-confidence, transitions up or down, competition pressures, injury, identity, and motivation. Services are provided in-office, via telehealth, or on a walk-talk session. Through PsyPact, I am able to provide telehealth services across 41 participating US states. The nature of Work It Out Consulting, LLC is sport and performance consulting, not psychotherapy. While I will be using my counseling expertise in our work together, the focus of our relationship will be on your specific goals to enhance your performance and/or wellbeing. Our relationship will look more like coaching than psychotherapy. I will strive to create an environment in which you feel seen, heard, validated, valued, and respected as a whole person, and not a diagnosis.
