Maya Angelou once said, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." Finding a therapist you feel safe telling your story to can be scary; not telling your story can be agony. I meet each person/client where they are at in their journey to become mentally healthier and happier. I believe each person is an individual worthy of respect, not being judged, being heard in a safe place and healing. My approach to therapy is just that; I offer a safe non-judgmental space where individuals can begin healing. There was a time when I thought I was alone with my struggles, when I was able to see I was not alone I began to heal.
