I aim to work with people to help mobilize their own resources, and use their own strengths and abilities to learn, cope, adapt, and grow in life.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Substance Use Specialty, who has experience working with individuals to address a variety of mental health and substance use concerns. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and an emphasis in substance use treatment. I have received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma informed treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and substance use treatment. I have worked in the Janesville and Madison communities for the past several years, providing client centered, strengths based treatment to a variety of populations, to treat issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. Through treatment modalities such as EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapies, I work with individuals to help them use their own strengths to reach their goals and create lasting change.
