Michael Grant, PhD, MBA
(He/Him/His)
Psychologist, Psychotherapist
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and my goal is to help my clients reach THEIR goals. We'll work together as collaborators to get your life moving!
I offer therapy and evaluation (testing) services. Clients don't come to me because they are happy. They come, most likely, because they are in pain and hurt. They are tired of feeling stuck, and the fear, tears, and whatever seems to be causing them all. They aren’t interested in therapy because they want therapy. In fact, they are not even sure IF they want therapy—but they ARE sure they want to get unstuck and feel better. So, for you: here you are. . . not all that sure that this is going to help but damn sure you want to do something that might make a positive change and get your life moving forward again. I can help you. I can talk all about my degrees and education and training but that's not what you care about, is it? You want someone who knows what it feels like to be where you are & to help you heal. You might be feeling "stuck in present pain" (that can be depression) or feeling "fear of future pain" (that can be anxiety). Both are my specialties. I know them well. Therapy is collaborative. We will be two experts working on your issue or problem: you are the expert on you (I can never know you as well as you know yourself) and I am the expert on human behavior and psychology. We will put our "expertises" together as we craft solutions for you to get you moving and happy again. Welcome to to the laboratory of change!
