(She/Her/Hers)
Psychiatrist
I am a physician and am board-certified in child, adolescent, and adult/general psychiatry.
I am from the Midwest and completed medical school, residency and fellowship in Chicago prior to moving to Miami in 2020. My patients have described me as professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. I believe in completing a thorough psychiatric assessment for all patients in order to make the best individualized treatment recommendations. I treat both children and adults and am specialized in treating a wide variety of mental illnesses, including: Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Bipolar Disorders, Depression, Insomnia, OCD, Postpartum Anxiety and Depression, and PTSD. Please note that I do NOT treat active eating disorders, active substance use disorders, active suicidal ideation or self harm behaviors. I do accept some insurances (Aetna, United, Optum, Oscar). If you do not have one of those insurances, my out-of-pocket fees are $350 for an initial evaluation and $150 for follow ups. I can provide a superbill if needed. I provide remote psychiatric care through secure video sessions, making it easier for children, teens, and adults to access support from anywhere in Florida. As a cisgender woman and LGBTQIA+ ally, I strive to create a welcoming, affirming space for clients of all identities. My services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for clients ages 5 through 64, with flexible payment options like FSA/HSA and major credit or debit cards.
