Melissa Short is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been in practice since 2021. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in a holistic healing philosophy that prioritizes the spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental dimensions of the self. Melissa is dedicated to meeting her clients where they are, ensuring the clinical focus remains centered on their specific goals and expectations. To provide a truly personalized care plan, she integrates techniques from various therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and Exposure Therapy.
