Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Hello, I’m Dr. Melinda Perry, and I’m glad you’re here. My goal is to walk alongside you as you work through life’s challenges and move toward clarity.
Hello, I’m Dr. Melinda Perry, and I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps to take, and I believe therapy should be a space where you feel respected, heard, and supported as you work toward meaningful change. Seeking support can feel overwhelming, but therapy should be a space where you feel safe, respected, and understood. My goal is to walk alongside you as you work through life’s challenges and move toward clarity, healing, and personal growth. I work with individuals who are navigating career stress, life transitions, anxiety, trauma, hoarding challenges, and performance pressure. Many of my clients are professionals, athletes, or individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their next steps in life. Together, we focus on understanding the underlying concerns while developing practical tools that support meaningful and lasting change. One of my areas of focus is career counseling, where I help individuals navigate workplace stress, career transitions, leadership roles, burnout, and professional development. Whether you are considering a career change, struggling with work-life balance, or seeking clarity about your professional direction, therapy can help you move forward with confidence. I also specialize in hoarding therapy, supporting individuals who may feel overwhelmed by clutter or strong emotional attachments to possessions. My approach is compassionate and structured, helping clients understand the emotional factors involved while creating manageable steps toward healthier living spaces. As a Certified Sports Social Worker, I enjoy working with athletes at all levels—from youth to adult and collegiate athletes. I support athletes who may be dealing with performance anxiety, injury recovery, identity transitions, or the pressures that come with competition. Together, we focus on strengthening resilience, improving mental performance, and maintaining balance both on and off the field. I also provide Immigration Psychological Assessments for individuals involved in immigration cases. These assessments can play an important role in supporting immigration petitions by documenting the psychological impact of trauma, hardship, or family separation. My goal is to conduct these evaluations with professionalism, compassion, and cultural sensitivity while providing clear and thorough clinical documentation. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Written Exposure Therapy and Brainspotting-informed techniques, to help clients process trauma, manage stress, and build emotional resilience.
