Meletina Taerbaum

I am a counselor who believes in working collaboratively in a calm and supportive environment. Together we can identify goals and work to meet them in ways that feel safe and comfortable to you. I have experience working with SPMI (severe and persistent mental illness), anxiety, bi-polar, depression, gender identity, grief, personality disorders and trauma. I am trauma-informed and have experience working in community mental health, hospitals, jails, mental health hospitals, and outpatient mental health programs for adults and adolescents. I am also trained in several therapeutic techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy-EMDR. My unique experiences as a first-generation American, Native American, wife, mother of a medically complex child, and more have taught me that life is complex and we are all in this together. We can work on our issues and gain support if we are ready.
