Mee Young Sowa
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I integrate evidence-based medication management with a focus on holistic well-being. Healing involves connecting with your authentic self.
In my work at One Heart One Mind Clinic in Stanardsville, I offer medication management and psychiatric evaluations for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and suicidal ideation. I provide care for children, teens, and adults, and am committed to creating a healing space that is both culturally responsive and LGBTQIA+ affirming. As a bilingual Korean-speaking provider, I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and work with many Asian American individuals seeking a more holistic and integrative approach. I’m in-network with Aetna, Anthem, and Blue Cross Blue Shield in Virginia, Cigna, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, United Healthcare and also offer sliding scale options. Whether through in-person visits or secure telehealth appointments across Virginia, I aim to help each client reconnect with their authentic self and build lasting well-being.
