I create an inclusive space where every identity and lived experience is valued.

I’m looking forward to meeting and supporting. I have worked as an educator and therapist for over 30 years, and I’m passionate about helping students navigate life’s challenges with practical skills, emotional support, and a strong foundation for well-being. My approach focuses on the connection between our minds and bodies. I use evidence-based practices to help students manage stress, build resilience, and develop balance in ways that feel relevant, realistic, and sustainable for their unique experiences. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), and Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NB-HWC). I am trained in DBT, EMDR, ACT, IFS, MI, and am a certified TRE provider. Together, we’ll find the combination of approaches that best supports your goals, growth, and success.

  • C-IAYT

C-IAYT (Certified Yoga Therapist) is a professional credential awarded by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). It signifies advanced training in using yoga practices therapeutically to support physical, mental, and emotional health in clinical or wellness settings. My training was extensively trauma focused.

  • Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP)

    Somatic Experiencing

A Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) is a trained professional who helps people heal from stress and trauma by working with the body’s natural responses. Rather than focusing only on thoughts or emotions, Somatic Experiencing supports awareness of physical sensations to help release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and restore a sense of safety and balance. This body-based approach can help improve resilience, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.

  • Certified TRE provider

    TRE Global

Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) is a body-based practice that uses a series of gentle movements to activate the body’s natural tremor response. These therapeutic tremors help release deep muscular tension, calm the nervous system, and reduce the effects of stress and trauma. TRE is designed to support relaxation, resilience, and overall emotional and physical well-being.
