11 years in practice

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 11 years of experience in the mental health field helping support people in reaching their goals.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and strengths-based. I offer a validating, non-judgmental, authentic, collaborative, and supportive place for people to navigate challenges they are experiencing. I aim to offer a place for people to be open and honest and feel heard, accepted, valued, and respected. I work with people to identify barriers and challenges & collaboratively create a plan for getting “unstuck” and moving toward their values and goals. Some examples of what we might work on in therapy include processing thoughts and feelings, gaining new insights, building on their strengths, identifying new supports, learning and practicing new skills and reflecting on change over time. I use CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness-based, and motivational interviewing approaches in therapy.
