I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist with subspecialty training in addiction psychiatry, & I provide compassionate, timely, & evidence-based care.

My treatment approaches include Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy, and motivational enhancement therapy. I strive to treat the client as a “whole” individual rather than focusing on one side of the addiction versus mood coin. Along those lines, I also have a great deal of experience treating a wide range of mental health problems including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder outside of the context of addiction. In addition to the in-network insurances listed on my profile, we also accept: - Blue Cross UNC Health Alliance - Blue Cross My Blue with Duke We accept out of network (OON) benefits, and we file all insurance claims on patients' behalf.
