Mary Chalk
(She/Her/Hers)
Counselor
Integrative counseling, designed specifically for each unique individual and their needs.
My name is Mary, and I am an LCMHC-A with experience helping clients facing a wide variety of mental health concerns. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, stress, neurodivergence, life transitions, grief, trauma, and relationship issues. These feelings and experiences can often create a sense of isolation and hopelessness, and if you choose to work with me, know that I strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and together, we work collaboratively to encourage positive growth and change. My approach is individualized, integrative, and holistic; I focus on functional solutions that address the whole person and help them find balance within their lives. My goal is to join each client on their unique journey and support them in achieving greater well-being and self-understanding through an environment of acceptance, empathy, and creativity. I work with teens, adults, and couples, and utilize methods including person-centered talk therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness.
