Bridgett Holzheimer earned her master’s degree in community counseling at John Carroll University in 2006. She has worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor for about 18 years in different environments that include agency, hospital, private practice, and telehealth platforms. Bridgett embraces the multisystemic approach to therapy with the idea that there are many solutions to living a better and healthier life. She enjoys using modalities that connect with her clients. Some examples of those modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and grounding. She has experience working with adults, children, individuals, couples, and groups. Bridgett specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, self-esteem, grief, stress, sexual and relationship challenges.
